Historian Nancy Baird Brown will lead a 90-minute tour that brings to life the untold stories of Saratoga’s powerful role in the fight for women’s suffrage. From bold activists to savvy strategists, discover the fierce women (and few surprising allies) who made history right here in Saratoga.
The tour takes place Wednesday, August 26, 2026 – celebrating Women’s Equality Day. The 90-minute tour takes place from 10:30 am – Noon and begins at the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center (45 minutes on the trolley and 45 minutes inside the History Museum)
During the second part of the tour, explore the Saratoga Springs History Museum in Congress Park, where exhibits on women's suffrage, abolition, and local history bring the past to life.
